If you have had a taste of scrambling on grade 1 ground but aren’t sure what to do to stay safe on harder, more exposed scrambles, then this is the course for you. You and your guide will work through your needs and come up with the best plan to suit you and your aims during a day out in the hills of the stunning Scottish Highlands.
Possible areas covered:
-intermediate scrambling movement techniques
-safeguarding two partners with a rope
-placing rock protection
-building belays
-descending scrambling terrain
We currently only run these as full days, but if you’re tight for time, contact us and we will try and work something out.
We operate on a maximum ratio of 1 guide to every 3 participants, with numbers limited to a max of 6 in a party, this ensures maximum safety and learning potential.
If you’d like to meet like minded individuals and help spread the cost of a course, have a look at Open Group Scrambling Adventures, and discover new friends in an awesome environment!
