Your Ben Nevis Winter Adventure

£150.00

£150 is a deposit only. Please email YAScotland@gmail.com for invoice and further pricing infomation. For a guide on prices, please see Your Adventure Prices.

Your Ben Nevis Winter Adventure will see you and your qualified mountain guide ascend the highest mountain in the United Kingdom in full winter conditions. Situated just outside Fort William, Ben Nevis rises 1,345m out of Glen Nevis.

Follow in the footsteps of many explorers and mountaineers before you, and take on the famous Ben this year. The route will see you take a winding, sometimes steep path to the barren plateau. From here the path, usually covered in snow and ice, skirts the impressive North Face to the summit, where if you’re lucky, you’ll be greeted with an amazing panoramic view of the west coast of Scotland.

You’ll be on your feet and in the hills for roughly 8-10 hours, and exposed to some of Scotland’s harshest weather,  so a good level of fitness is advised although no prior winter mountain walking experience is needed. If required, we will guide and instruct you in the use of crampons and ice axes while hiking, as part of the day.

Winter months run from the start of November to the end of April.

We have a maximum guide to participant ratio of 1:6.

If you’d rather join one of our open groups, have a look here.
